Attorneys
Christopher Paull Riley's practice centers on employment law and civil litigation. He is a published author, having written "Survey of Developments in the Law of Domestic Relations," in the 1983-1984 edition of the West Virginia Law Review. Mr. Riley is admitted to practice in the courts of West Virginia and U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. During law school, he was Lead Articles Editor of the West Virginia Law Review, graduating in 1985 as a member of the Order of the Coif. He also graduated from Tufts University magna cum laude. Mr. Riley has acted as the Ohio County Ballot Commissioner, the Deputy Commissioner of Forfeited and Delinquent Lands for Ohio County, and the Commissioner of the West Virginia Library Commission. Since 1991, he has served the community as a Trustee of the Wheeling Symphony Fund. Additionally, he has contributed to the local legal community as a member of the District 1 Character Committee of the West Virginia State Bar since 1999. Mr. Riley has been a member of the Ohio County, West Virginia and American Bar Associations, and is active as a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the ABA. He also belongs to the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
