In addition to a busy estate planning practice, Cheryl Dean Riley is Managing Partner of the firm. She has been a lawyer since 1986 and is admitted in West Virginia and U.S. District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia. She is also admitted in the U.S Court of Appeals, 4th Circuit. Ms. Riley graduated cum laude from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982. She also earned her law degree from West Virginia University, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi and was on the Moot Court Board, serving as Chief Justice during the 1985-1986 school year. Pursuing her interest in trial advocacy, Ms. Riley was also on the National Moot Court Team and the American Bar Association Moot Court Team. Ms. Riley is a member of the Order of the Barristers. Like her partners, Ms. Riley has made a point of community service. She has acted as a Hearing Examiner for the Workers' Compensation Fund and as acted as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Wheeling YWCA. Ms. Riley is also on the Board of Trustees of the Ogleby Institute and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Victorian Wheeling Society Ltd. For a number of years, she served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Big Brothers, Big Sisters. She is also a member of the Ohio County, West Virginia and American Bar Associations.
